Under the patronage of Manager Development Drilling
Group (II) Ali Al-Saleh, and in the presence of TL Development Drilling & Workover (VIII) Abdullah Al-Ajmi and officials from
Sinopec, KOC recently celebrated the achievements registered by Kuwaiti
engineers at Rig SP-282.
The Kuwaiti engineers received recognition after
achieving 2,000 free LTI days since they were assigned to oversee operations at
the rig. During the event, Senior Engineer Majed Al-Gharib spoke about the most
important challenges and achievements during this period and the initiatives
that contributed to the development of the work environment in terms of
performance, the reduction of operational cost, and its direct impact on the
improvement of traditional practices in drilling and well development.
Operations at the SP-282 rig have relied on Kuwaiti
engineers since its inception in mid-2015.
